New portable game from Media Molecule?

A new hiring notice from Media Molecule, the devs behind Little Big Planet, implies that they are working on a new handheld offering.

Little Big Planet has made its way to the PSP in the past but, as that was developed by another company, it will be nice to see an internally developed portable title.

When contacted about the post Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans stated that “I’m afraid we’ve got nothing to announce regarding any projects.”

With LBP2 being such a runaway success since its release in January it would be great to see what kind of direction Media Molecule would take for a handheld project.

Thanks to Joystiq for the info.

You just know that they’ll be a port of some sort or another spin off to LBP on the NGP. Sony would be stupid not to have one. BUT They would be stupid to let the same guys who worked on the first PSP game do it for the NGP as the first LBP game for the psp was kinda a bust review wise.
