Next Car Game Gets Kickstarted

Demolition derby-style racing

Posted By | On 05th, Nov. 2013

As of November 1st, a crowd funding Kickstarter campaign went live for BugBear Entertainment’s Next Car Game.

Next Car Game is a demolition centric racing game which features fun and large scale crashes, realistic driving physics, and interactive car building. The goal of the project is set at $350,000.

The game itself actually is already largely developed, however, this crowd funding effort would allow for the team of developers to implement some cool additional features that their current budget can’t quite accommodate. And if their stretch goals are reached, we could even see Next Car Game developed for and released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The video posted to the Kickstarter page gives us a pretty good look at what we’ll be able to expect from Next Car Game as far as game play. True to the hype, as far as a demolition derby style racer goes, it looks pretty epic. The crashes look incredibly cool, and like a lot of fun to orchestrate. The guys behind this game are actually the developers behind another destruction-based racing game, Flat Out. Hopefully Next Car Game will improve upon the much loved mechanics of Float Out.
