Platinum Games’ Nier: Automata is only two weeks away but there’s a still lot we’re yet to learn about the hack and slash action RPG…like when the PC version will be coming out.

According to producer Yosuke Saito in a recent livestream (as per DSO Gaming), it won’t be very much long now before Automata hits Steam. Currently, Platinum and Square Enix are still thinking of ways for dealing with piracy.

Other details about Nier: Automata emerged from the livestream (courtesy of Gematsu) including the Android system that allows players to find their corpses and recover items like plug-in chips. There are multiple functions of the same though – you can resurrect your corpse and have it fight by you for a limited time.

Other players’ corpses will also be visible and it’s possible to revive their corpses for some backup. No information yet on the haiku sysem, which mimics the messages in Dark Souls.

But yes, just like Dark Souls, if you die before making it to your body – or take a long time – it will be gone. It was also revealed that Square Enix was willing to fund DLC for the game. As of now, there’s no information on what that could be.

Nier: Automata arrives on March 7th for PS4 in North America and March 10th for PAL territories.
