Overwatch

North America and Europe already have their fill of Overwatch happening with the closed beta going live last week for these territories but Asian players won’t have to wait much longer.

According to the official Overwatch Twitter, “A wave of accounts from our opt-in pool have been flagged for Closed Beta. This wave targeted players from our Asia gameplay region.”

So if you’re in Asia, signed up for the closed beta and have been waiting for your turn, then you might want to keep a close eye on your inbox.

The closed beta for Overwatch resumed last week for all players and added quite a lot of new features. These include new maps, a new mode and the much-awaited progression system, which awards loot boxes to players as they gain level and bestows cosmetic items like skins, sprays and the like.

Overwatch itself will be out in Q1/Q2 for PC, Xbox One and PS4 so stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
