Overwatch

Blizzard Entertainment’s beta for multiplayer shooter Overwatch will be taking place on October 27th in the America regions, according to a recent announcement. The closed beta will begin with a few players and eventually add more with tests coming to Europe and then to Asia later.

There will also be beta test weekends for the game which will consist of a larger group of players in order to test the capacity of server hardware for heavy loads. Beta test weekends will be available worldwide shortly after the end of the upcoming Blizzcon. You can sign up for the beta here, after which you will receive an email for either the closed beta or beta test weekend.

Overwatch was announced last year by Blizzard Entertainment and will be the company’s first competitive FPS featuring a large cast of heroes to play as. It’s expected to launch sometime in 2016 for PC. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
