Blizzard Entertainment provided an update on its upcoming multiplayer shooter Overwatch at PAX East and has revealed that the beta will begin in the Fall. Beta sign-ups can be done here and you should really hurry up if you want to reserve your spot.

That’s not all though – Blizzard also unveiled two brand new characters with Zarya and Jesse McCree. Zarya uses a particle cannon to eliminate enemies, erect particle barriers for herself and allies, and using a gravity grenade of sorts to group enemies together.

Jesse McCree reminds one of Western movie-era Clint Eastwood and takes down targets with a six-shooter. Besides going full-auto with the revolver and throwing flashbangs, McCree can activate Dead Eye and eliminate multiple targets in the blink of an eye. Check out gameplay videos from both characters below.

With the beta out in Fall, there’s plenty of time for Blizzard to expand upon and build up Overwatch en route to the beta. Will you be taking part in the beta? Let us know in the comments.
