Overwatch Bug: Junkrat Can Get Trapped By His Own Traps

Quite counter-productive, to say the least.

Overwatch recently received deathmatch modes for players to play through, and while the reception has been mostly positive, much like a lot of other aspects of the game, there’s been complains about bugs here as well. Overwatch has been performing very well on both a critical scale and a commercial one, but there’s no denying that the game’s often riddled with annoying glitches and bugs.

The bug we’re reporting on today was brought up on Reddit by user HotSkipAndARump. The user reports that while playing the deathmatch mode, Junkrat, who has the ability to lay down traps for his enemies, can now get trapped in his own traps. The user also provided a video showing the effects of the bug. However, it should be n0ted that it’s been mentioned that this issue was only tested out and spotted in free-for-all deathmatch, so there’s every chance that this doesn’t exist at all in team deathmatch.

Blizzard have not yet commented on or fixed the issue, but considering that, in the larger scheme of things, it’s actually a pretty small one, we can be pretty sure that it will be fixed sooner rather than later. Have you come across this issue while playing Overwatch recently? Let us know in your comments below.
