Overwatch Christmas Event Teased for December 13th

Blizzard is formally inviting you.

Blizzard Entertainment isn’t keeping its next event for Overwatch under wraps for too long. After recent data-mining unveiled voice lines, character interactions and Christmas-themed music from an upcoming event, the developer has informed fans on Twitter that they’re “invited” for…something happening on December 13th.

The tweet in question contains a Christmas-themed version of the King’s Row map, complete with snow and decorations. Of course, this could be a reveal of sorts but Blizzard is usually about releasing these updates immediately and letting fans get a feel for them rather than hyping them up too much.

For the Christmas event, we’re expecting new skins and a possible new mode to arrive and keep fans sated. Expect said skins to be absurdly expensive like in Halloween Terror but at least they’re not locked behind RNG loot boxes like Summer Games.

What are you looking forward to in Overwatch’s next event? Let us know in the comments.
