Overwatch

Enjoying the open beta for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch? Get used to it because that’s more or less what the final game will be at launch.

According to game director Jeff Kaplan on the official forums, “The version you are playing now is what will go live at launch (there will be some bug fixes etc.). We’re also working on a TON of post-launch features and content. It’s going to be a pretty amazing summer.”

Overwatch currently has four modes with three maps each and 21 heroes to play around with. Blizzard also has the Weekly Brawl, a playlist featuring random rules and interesting twists for players to try out (the Brawl in the open beta changes your hero each time you die). Competitive Play won’t be present at launch – it will be revamped based on closed beta feedback and releasing sometime in the future.
