Well, time to finally play Overwatch, I think.

Overwatch

Overwatch, Blizzard’s absurdly successful team based shooter, doesn’t really need to sell itself to more players- but that’s exactly what it will be doing with this upcoming free weekend that Blizzard have announced for it on the PS4.

This free weekend will be available to all PlayStation 4 players- all PlayStation 4 players will have access to the full game, including all of its four modes and 22 heroes, during this period. They will not need PlayStation Plus to play online, either, meaning you literally have no access to not at least give the game a chance in this period.

The free weekend goes live on September 9 at 11:00 A.M. PDT, and concludes on September 12 at 4:00 P.M. PDT. Find details to be able to get into the free weekend below:

  1. Turn on your PlayStation 4 and log in to your preferred local user.
  2. Go to PlayStation Store and select “Search” from the top menu.
  3. In the search field, type in “Overwatch.”
  4. Select “Overwatch Free Weekend” from the search results and then click “Download.”
  5. Once the download and installation process is complete, click “Start” to begin!
