Overwatch: Blizzard’s FPS Is Suffering From Game Breaking Score Bug

Time to fix this, Blizzard!

Posted By | On 08th, Jan. 2017

It sounds like Overwatch may be suffering from a rather serious glitch- some players on Reddit are reporting that the stops tracking scores correctly in competitive matches, with multiple players reporting that the game randomly awards the losing team enough points that they suddenly overtake the winning team for no good reason.

This is a serious, and rather fundamental problem with the game, that it sounds like Blizzard will have to address immediately- a game like Overwatch lives and dies by its community, and it won’t thrive if its community flees because it can’t even keep track of score properly.

That said, Blizzard are very good at responding to this kind of thing, so we should hopefully see this problem addressed soon. Overwatch is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game has received several awards, including Best Shooter of the Year and Best Multiplayer of the Year here at GamingBolt.
