Overwatch Won’t Have Valentines, Easter Events in 2017

But there is "very cool stuff" planned.

The road-map for Overwatch in 2017 is pretty stacked with new heroes, maps and modes teased along with other features like a reworked command wheel and server browser for Custom Games. Director Jeff Kaplan also confirmed that more events would be coming and some would surprise fans.

That being said, don’t expect every single holiday to have an event centered on it. Kaplan clarified on the official forums that, “We do have some VERY cool stuff planned for next year. To clarify without spoiling surprises: We are*NOT* planning a Valentines or Easter event.

“So yes, you can expect cool events. But just to manage expectations Valentines and Easter are not those events.”

If you want to make suggestions about Reinhardt’s next skin being called Sweethardt or some such nonsense, then you’re out of luck.

What do you hope to see from Overwatch’s future events? Let us know in the comments below.
