Blizzard Entertainment finally revealed its newest hero to come to Overwatch, that too after months of ARG manipulations. Sombra is a stealth DPS hero and will be heading to the public test server on November 8th in the United States and likely November 9th in Europe. Check out Sombra’s origins along with the new animated short “Infiltration”.

As a stealth character, Sombra can turn invisible (which boosts her movement speed) and uses an SMG to take down enemies. Her main power is the ability to “hack” enemy players, disrupting their abilities for a short time. This ability manifests best in her ultimate – an EMP which disables shields and turrets while also hacking any nearby heroes. For even more mobility, Sombra uses a translocating device that can be thrown and teleported to.

At this point, Sombra appears to be an extremely compelling hero though her abilities could make her a nightmare for most players to deal with. What are your thoughts on the reveal and powers of Sombra? Let us know below.
