Pachter is sending out notes to investors ahead of the official numbers due this Thursday, and it appears that, in the month of November, the PlayStation 4 managed to beat out the Xbox One pretty convincingly. We are talking about a half million unit lead here, folks.

VideoGamer reports that the PS4 is estimated to have sold 1.25 million units to Xbox One’s 750,000 units sold in the same tracking period. It is to be remembered, however, that the Xbox One did launch a full week later in the US than the PS4, so maybe that explains some of the discrepancy.

The last generation Xbox fared much better against the last generation PlayStation, however, with Xbox 360 having sold an alleged 700,000 units to PS3’s 550,000. The Wii U, on the other hand, is estimated to have sunk like a rock, selling only 150,000 units, a shockingly low number for a major platform in the biggest month of the year in the biggest video gaming market.
