Panopticon Revealed – New title from Japan Studio

New Monster Hunter genre type game finally incoming for the PlayStation platforms?

Posted By | On 16th, May. 2013

Sony Japanese website revealed today a brand new title called Panopticon. In the teaser trailer, we’re introduced to an anime world with characters who are trying to battle against giant monsters cooperatively. It looks intriguing; however, it’s hard to tell if that’s in-game or just a cinematic.

It’s safe to assume that the game is only coming out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita by looking at the top of the website with the platform listings. Although, if you look at the bottom of the website it says 5/21/13, which means that on May 21st it’s highly likely that more information will be released.

This particular date is concurrent with the Next-Xbox reveal event by Microsoft, so it seems that Sony is trying to steal some candy away  from the show by announcing new titles.

Let us know what you think of Panopticon and if you excited to see more details for it on May 21st 2013.

Check back on GamingBolt for more updates on Panopticon in the coming weeks.
