Paris Games Week is almost here, and while only Sony is holding a major conference at the event, most major publishers will be there to hawk their wares- Nintendo, Microsoft, Square Enix, Namco, EA, and Activision are just some of the many big name publishers who will be showcasing their products at the event.

This new trailer for the event showcases just that, showing us some of the biggest games that will be shown at the event. These include Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Super Mario Maker, Fatal Frame V, Halo 5, Quantum Break, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Basically what this trailer is saying is, no matter which company you throw the gauntlet down for, you still have something to look forward to come Paris Games Week. It’s not just about Sony- everyone will be there.

When Sony announced that they were going to skip Gamescom in favor of Paris Games Week, it seemed like the narrative from this website was that Sony is getting lazy, complacent, has no games, and is going to be completely absent from Gamescom even after knowing that Sony meant they weren’t holding a conference but were still going to be there. It seemed like this website continued to feed a narrative that Gamescom was only about Microsoft.

But now that Paris Games Week is upon us, the narrative from this website has become, “It’s not just about Sony. Everyone will have something to look forward to at Paris Games Week”, even though Sony is the only major one holding a conference.
