We were promised Persona 5 news for today, and we got it. At today’s Persona 5 Premium Event, Atlus revealed seven new ‘Cooperations,’ which is this game’s twist on the series’ signature Social Links mechanic- these new Social Links include co-students, as well as teachers.

You can check out each Social Link’s introduction in the seven videos below, each corresponding to one of the characters and their Social Link. While at this point, we know that the Social Link mechanic is returning in Persona 5, it is unclear exactly how it will work in this game- the name change in Japanese from Community to Cooperation seems to suggest that the underlying mechanics may have changed, but for now, nothing is clear.

Persona 5 is due out on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15 in Japan. The North American release is slated for February 14 next year, while Europe will get the game some time in 2017 courtesy of Deep Silver, with no specific date yet announced.
