In a promotional effort to honor the one year anniversary of PlanetSide 2, players across Europe have been prompted to share their own personal harrowing gaming experiences, with the opportunity for the best ones to be turned into PlanetSide 2 based graphic novels.

Submissions are being received until December 17th, at which time stories will be submitted to the PlanetSide 2 community for other players to vote on which ones are the best.

It’s a brilliant idea, really. A very fun way for gamers to get involved in such a community based game–and not only that, but this competition will inspire players to game harder, and take risks they wouldn’t normally take in order to terry and find something epic within themselves. I’m certainly excited to see the results.

In addition to the graphic novel contest, the one year anniversary edition of PlanetSide 2 has been released, which ads a great deal of all-new in-game content.
