PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

At Microsoft’s Gamescom presentation, it was announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds would be published by Microsoft on the Xbox One when it launched later this year for Game Preview, the console’s early access program.

However, did that mean it would be exclusive to the console? Twitter users posed this question to lead community manager Sammie on Twitter, the exchange which you can see below. Furthermore, Game Informer contacted Microsoft who responded that, “As we announced at E3, ‘PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS‘ will be a console launch exclusive on Xbox One and right now, the development team is solely focused on bringing the best game possible on Xbox One and PC. We have nothing further to announce at this time.”

So at this point, neither Bluehole nor Microsoft is confirming whether PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be complete exclusive to the Xbox One when it comes to consoles.

As it stands, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is already available on PC and will also support Xbox One X when it launches later this year on Game Preview. It recently broke the 8 million mark for copies sold on PC.

So they’re being purposely vague. Just the kind of behavior you don’t want from a company that is asking you to trust them again by going out and purchasing their 3rd new $500 rehashed console, with no exciting new game announcements to give you confidence in the future viability of your new purchase, right after the worst, most embarrassing game conference they ever had.

I guess there’s no possibility they are vague about the specifics because the deal is being worked on and specifics don’t exist? Geez people use some common sense. Ever heard of an NDA?

NDA my a ss. My common sense, as well as the history of all things Xbox tells me not to trust these clowns. You’ll get there one day, or maybe not. Some of you guys will never learn.

Hahahaha. Always. The same. Microsoft says this is a console launch exclusive. Morons bug them, IS IT EXCLUSIVE FOREV=VER?!?!!?!?. Sony announces “Exclusive” and no one hounds them. Comes out on Xbox a year later.

It wouldn’t be so sad if both companies were treated the same.

So, is that Crash collection coming out on Xbox?

Answer: Doesn’t matter, it’ll come out when if it comes out.

Of course it isn’t. MS doesn’t have the money to spend on exclusivity for unfinished indie games like PUBG.
