Launch games from your smartphone, share videos and much more.

New images have surfaced for the PlayStation 4’s user interface, which showcases the messaging window, “What’s New” page, video sharing gallery and more, including the UI’s appearance on tablets. You can also see how the game window and your profile will appear when viewing the interface on your smartphone. Check out the images below.

You can also see the option to launch games from your smartphone, thus allowing it to act as a remote control for your PlayStation 4. Imagine having your games installed on the system and just having to navigate using your smartphone in order to launch them. Now, if only we had the option of doing the same thing for games through the Cloud.

As of now, there’s still no solid release date for the PlayStation 4 outside of the Holiday season which Sony has indicated. Rumours indicate that the console may launch in November, not too far apart from the Xbox One. Stay tuned for more details, as always.
