Prey

Out of nowhere – or somewhere, essentially the QuakeCon – Arkane Studios has revealed the first gameplay trailer for Prey, it’s upcoming first person shooter. Check it out below.

The System Shock similarities are evident immediately, especially with the derelict space station and it’s haunting corridors. Morgan Yu has his hands full dealing with the aliens but something else seems off, as if it’s a scenario that he’s experiencing on loop. That could just be for dramatic effect though.

Prey will allow you to use different weaponry and tools but Morgan also gains the use of alien powers to turn the tide. We see more of the aliens and how they can leap around and shape-shift at will. There’s still more we’d like to see but it’s good to note how closely the presentation mirrors that of the E3 2016 presentation.

Prey is currently slated to release for PS4, PC and Xbox One in 2017.
