Prey Speedrun Beats The Game In Just 7 Minutes

That's impressive.

Speedruns are always fascinating for me- watching players attain complete and total mastery of not just the game’s layout, structure, and mechanics, but its very code, such that they can exploit it and bend it to their will, is something that I have found thrilling to watch over the years.

Some games, of course, lend themselves to speedruns better than other games do. One of those games is Arkane’s recently released Prey, which has inspired a speedrunning scene ever since its release back in May. And now, here’s the newest one- someone who, somehow, manages to complete the game in just seven minutes, setting a new world record in the process. It was an any percentage speedrun, so obviously, some glitches were used.

But how exactly do they do it? Best to watch it for yourself in the video below- hey, it’s only seven minutes, quit complaining. Prey is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
