A new developer diary for Prototype 2 shows off a brand new weapon power.
According to Mark Acero, senior combat designer at developer Radical: “The brand new weapon power is something very different than any of the weapon powers from the first game. We’re using tendrils to reach out into the environment, smash thing into other things, or for stringing enemies up in the world to be vulnerable to other attacks.”
Senior technical director Bryan Brandt adds: “They give the player the feeling of really affecting the world.”
Sounds like an interesting new addition to the game.
