PS2 games in the future of Android?

Android users rejoice. The mobile platform may well see some PS2 games gracing its future.

Reports state that NVidia’s Tegra Zone app, which will support Sony’s platform agnostic PlayStation Suite, will include PlayStation 2 software compatibility in the future.

The application is expected to be released for Tegra-enabled Android tablets and phones later on this year along with a selcetion of PS1 games. PlayStation 2 games will be available “eventually,” but no more information was given.

    the strang thing about ps2 games is that they dont feel like they did when I played them at launch. Back then they were the best made. But after experiencing ps3 power, I just dont think ill be into older generation games, specially on a phone.

    But some people could like this so who am I to judge.

    I for one think this is a great idea. Image God of war 1 and 2 on your phone in HD. Or how bout Prince of persia? Awesomeness.

    on a completely unrelated side note, I just went 16 and 4 playing team deathmatch in the Crysis 2 demo.
