The PlayStaton 4 Pro launched yesterday, and it’s an intriguing console- it’s the very first mid generation updated console ever released, and it it also the first console to be pushing 4K. The PS4 Pro is currently the most powerful console on the market- so for console gamers interested in tech, it poses an interesting proposition.

If said console gamers are interested in knowing what exactly makes the PS4 Pro tick, then the good news is that they won’t have to wait for teardowns from third party sources. Sony themselves have released a new video in which Keiichi Aoki, Director of Mechanical Design, does a full comprehensive breakdown of the new console- for console players interested in tech, this video is a fascinating look at the innards of a PS4 Pro.

    its not that has 2 gpus they both turn on during pro mode.other wise its a ps4.its not that hard…lmao

      It has one single APU which contains the CPU and the GPU, half of the GPU cores is turned off. Cerny said “it’s like 2 GPUs”, notice the “like”, he tried to make it easier to understand for certain people but that apparently didn’t go so well in your case….
