PSN Store Now Details PS4 Pro Improvements For Games

PS4 Pro Enhanced.

Posted By | On 28th, Dec. 2016

A month and a half after it initially launched, Sony have finally updated the PSN Store so that game pages for PS4 Pro enhanced titles list all the improvements that users will be getting if they play them on Sony’s newest console. Until now, the PSN Store did not tell users what benefits they would get by playing a game on the PS4 Pro, or even if the game would support the PS4 Pro at all.

That changes now. As of right now, only first party games seem to be getting their descriptions updated, with the assumption being that third parties will have to work on updating their own listings. An interesting fact that has emerged in these listings appears to be the term ‘PS4 Pro HD’, which is possibly Sony’s fancy way of saying ‘greater than 1080p resolution, but not 4K.’

It’s good to see that Sony are attempting to do a better job at clearing the air around the PS4 Pro, especially since their messaging around the system has been one big mess so far.
