Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

We’ve known that Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Black Ice was coming for a while now, but the new DLC launch date is now here. The new content launched on Tuesday and brought the new Yacht map, two new operators, Frost and Buck, from the elite Canadian special operations JTF 2 force, and new weapon skins right along with it. The new content is part of Ubisoft’s promise to be bringing new content to the game on a pretty regular basis.

The new content is also going to have the Spectator Camera feature online. The really good news about the post launch content that Ubisoft is bringing to the game, is that they want all the game’s players to have access. That means the new content is going to be entirely free. That’s a heck of a gift to gamers who have stuck with the game. There were some launch problems with Rainbow Six Siege when it first hit the market but the company has been working hard to make sure the game is playing well these days.

While almost all the new content that Ubisoft brings to the game will be free, the firm is making an incentive for people to play it by having some items, such as new operators only unlockable by using in-game currency called Renown. Luckily this is entirely something players can earn through playthrough of the main game. Check out the trailer below of Operation Black Ice and get to playing Rainbow Six Siege on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
