Reggie has apparently said on CNN that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the Wii U is the best version yet when it comes to graphics. It seems he was caught off guard due to the questions, where one of them was about why the system is weaker than current gen HD consoles.
If you remember Reggie called Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition an entirely new game and also argued with Geoff Keighley, only later to be proven wrong, but he didn’t budge. According to Digital Foundry, the Wii U version is sub-HD and also has performance issues, and the frame rate is quite lower than the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
“The specs are quite different than our competitor’s system, much more graphically intensive. If you do a side-by-side comparison, third-party games look dramatically better on our system,” he said.
There was no reason for him to say all this because the facts prove him wrong, but it’s funny that he couldn’t spin an answer and praise the gamepad etc. I guess the interviewer just took him by surprise and he started blabbering.
