Report: Pikmin and Mario Wii U Confirmed

This should be a great news for most Nintendo fans, as Kotaku is reporting that Pikmin Wii U will be shown at E3 this year by Nintendo.

They responded to Kotaku and said this: “”In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year’s E3 Expo. This is based on the Mario experience that was demonstrated at last year’s E3 Expo.

“We’ll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date.”

The Wii U is already looking like a beast now with mega first-party Nintendo franchises in glorious HD for the first time. It remains to be seen if this is indeed true and if Pikmin is indeed revealed, and I see no reason for Nintendo not to.

Well, you can use the Virtual console on the Wii to dwolnoad games. They have Contra and all (I think) of the old Mario games. N64 games are 1000 points ($ 10), SNES games cost 800 ($ 8), and NES is 500 ($ 5). They have some other non-Nintendo systems too, but I don’t know how much the games cost. After a few games, you might run low on the Wii’s internal memory and need to store games on an SD card But if you want old school games on your console without using a hack or buying a bunch of systems or a collection, then you might try getting a Wii.EDIT: I think what you’re talking about is a mod/hack that you hook up to your Wii (don’t really know how it works) and you dwolnoad ROMs from your computer to play on your Wii. The homebrew channel, maybe?
