Resident Evil 7 Features Xbox One-PC Cross Save Support

Play Anywhere support not confirmed.

Resident Evil 7

Cross-save support courtesy of Xbox Play Anywhere has been a thing with Xbox One titles for a while now. And while purchasing a copy of Resident Evil 7: biohazard on either Windows 10 or Xbox One won’t give you a free digital copy on the other platform, it’s still possible to transfer save.

Dengeki noted that the Windows Store version will share save data with the Xbox One version and IGN later revealed that Capcom confirmed cross-save functionality in a statement. It would be interesting if Play Anywhere was also implemented just as an incentive for Xbox One/Windows 10 players. After all, Resident Evil 7 will be releasing its VR mode exclusively on PlayStation VR for the first year.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard is out on January 24th 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game thus far and will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.

Oh, so Capcom suddenly owes Microsoft some extra love now for not having their own VR solution in place on Xbox One, that they should lose money on their game from just allowing a single license to be purchased through Play Anywhere and be used on multiple devices? That’s the dumbest business decision a publisher could make and nobody should have ever expected publishers to join in with Microsoft on taking losses on their games. JUST PLAIN STUPID. What ever happened to the idea of competition? Stop crying and show some impartiality for once, Gamingbolt. Such hilariousness!

I agree all the way, MS should do their fans a favour and release hardware, more hardware, I would certainly be a dumb 3rd party multiplat. publisher to allow a single purchased license to allow people to play my game on multiple devices just because MS wants to please their fans and lose money in the end,the reason Sony has the added incentive isn’t because they went luring capcom, they created a whole affordable mass market for vr, so if Xbox players want an incentive, pls tell Phil to release a cost-effective vr solution for the platform.

Boom! What in the hail is these dudes at Gamingbolt smokin on? Let’s just ask publishers to give their potential profits away to save Phil Spencer from his dumb decisions. Hilariousness!
