Resident Evil 7 was a total game changer for Capcom’s long running series, reimagining the franchise from the ground up all over again with its first person perspective. In the wake of the game’s critical and commercial success, Capcom has released a brand new video showcasing the making of Resident Evil 7, and how the game came about.

The most interesting thing we learn is that Capcom was working on an earlier version of Resident Evil 7, that was going to be more similar to Resident Evil 6.
