More evidence has begun surfacing that Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider will be releasing in January 2016. After Amazon France listed the game as releasing next month, it’s now Steam which has it listed for the same month (courtesy of NeoGAF). There isn’t a specific date given aside from January 2016.

Thus far, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics haven’t confirmed when the PC version will be out. It was earlier claimed that the action adventure title, which is currently only available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, would be releasing in early 2016 for PC.

Rise of the Tomb Raider released this past November for Xbox One and Xbox 360 to exceptional critical praise but somewhat middling sales – despite Microsoft saying it performed as per expectations. The game is also scheduled to release in the Holiday 2016 season for PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more information on the PC release though especially as we head into the New Year.
