Ryse: Son of Rome will be on sale for $40 starting tomorrow till February 24th on Xbox Live, but more importantly, the game will be receiving some new DLC in the form of the Mars’ Chosen pack. Producer Justin Robey revealed details about the same in an interview with Xbox Wire.

Among the new content will be four maps – which includes an Egyptian setting – a new character skin and the brand new Survival Mode, which has the player taking on waves of enemies. Killing and executing enemies helps regain health but otherwise, it’s you (along with a friend, if you play cooperatively) against a horde of Barbarians with no where to run.

Those with the Season Pass will receive Mars’ Chosen for free, while it retails for $8.99. Along with the game itself, other DLC will be on sale between February 25th to 27th.

Will you be picking up the DLC or are you already past Ryse? Let us know in the comments.
