Skyrim Recommended PC Specs are here

Recommend PC specs:

  • Win XP/7
  • quad-core Intel/AMD CPU
  • 4GB RAM
  • 6GB HD
  • DX compat snd card
  • DX9 vid card w/
  • 1 GB. GTX 260/Radeon 4890 or higher

The specs feel very reasonable and are built for the mid-range PC’s out there. If you have a powerful PC you can pretty much blow the consoles away.

But it also feels like they made this with the consoles in mind, as you really don’t need a DirectX 11 card to run the game.

Skyrim is shaping up to be a wonderful game and if it is anything like Oblivion, you have to get it on the PC for the mod support from the community.
