Sony Goes Full 1980’s In New PS4 Pro Ad, Boasts “The World’s Most Powerful Console”

Featuring Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Zombies in Spaceland.

Sony is looking for fun ways to advertise the PS4 Pro and they certainly found it with this new Twitter video. This video doesn’t really focus on the technical specifications of  the PS4 Pro console but instead brings the throwback approach as it is made to look like it’s from the 1980s.

The video has got all kinds of crazy colors as the shot of the PS4 Pro zooms in and out. Not only does the video show off the console a bit but it also blends in with the Zombies in Spaceland mode from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The best part of the entire video is when one of those zombies is shown holding the controller and playing the game. It’s an interesting approach to marketing and we’ll see how well it works when the console launches next month.

I find it funny how I keep hearing my name thrown around just because I upvote on Xrat’s posts. Yes, I do happen to agree with most of his opinions on the Xbox. You people are some real idiots.

[Tech] Problems with Kinect and the XBOX One S (self.xboxone)
submitted 4 hours ago by broken_radio

I have the adaptor installed but for some reason it will stop working
every few days. It’s obvious that nothing is working because the light
on front of the Kinect will be off. The Kinect power-pack-surge-bar
whatever the eff it is light stays on, but I have to unplug and then
plug back in the Kinect via USB in the back of the XBOX to make
everything responsive again. Is anyone else having this issue? Like I
said unplugging and then re-plugging the cord into the USB port fixes
      it.

I have had this same issue for a few weeks now. Sometimes the Kinect
turns on normally, sometimes it turns off in the middle of a show. So
far the only “reliable” solution is to unplug and replug the Kinect from
      the S a few times.

I got the Kinect with the Day One console, used it with the Halo 5 console, and it has been perfect up until the One S.

I can confirm this happens with new Kinects as well. My 4 month old
Kinect started doing this once I hooked it up to my new Xbox One S (it’s in the preview program). It turns off randomly and sometimes when you ask Cortana to do something or use voice to text on the digital keyboard. I reported this issue 3 days ago.

Glad to know it’s not me, I didn’t have any problems until we had to use this new converter. having the same issue also, sometimes the Kinect will be working fine until I power on using “hey Cortana Xbox on” and no response no light.

Wow. Idiots are still yelling at their idiot cam. Hilariousness!

      Xbox One S owners – 4K Blu-rays with artifacts and problems? (self.xboxone)
submitted an hour ago by rrobinson1216

I’ve now had two 4K UHD Blu-Rays with issues – X-Men:Apocalypse, and Gatsby.
Both had random artifacts (colored squares, freezes, audio messups) in
the middle of the movie. I’ve exchanged X-Men and the second copy worked
well, but after getting Gatsby and having the same issues, I’m
wondering what’s up. Are they just harder to produce and therefore
produce more failures? I obviously didn’t have a second 4K BR player to
test with, so I just finished with the 1080P version and will exchange
it tomorrow. Just curious to see if anyone else has seen it, and if it’s
      the disc’s fault.

I have seen zero television ads for anything Xbox. None for the Xbox One S, or any popular Xbox One games, outside of those humorous Madden 17 commercials. Seems like Microsoft is focusing all future revenue on the vaporware Scorpio and abandoning the 2 previous Xbox One console disasters. Hilariousness!

    This triggers the Xgimp.

Pretty cool tongue in cheek advert, reminds me of the Sega Megadrive ‘Cyber razor cut’ advert. (I know that was early 90’s)

    Too bad their vr sucks…lol.

    Biggest joke yet ….GTFO

  • Dougdec92

Sony using relativity here until the supposed 6tflops Scorpio comes and until then they are technically right…MS could do with a little more than an E3 announcement to hammer down their future superiority
