Star Citizen has grown beyond being just a game now, it’s a sensation. With a budget as large as this game’s, it makes sense that the developers can afford to have some fun with their fans and community, and how they choose to engage with them. So, for example, when the time came to show off a brand new spaceship for the game, the developers didn’t just announce it, or release a boring old trailer for it. No, they went ahead and created an entirely new Star Citizen variant of the leading automobile show Top Gear, and ‘test flew’ the spaceship in it. Exhaustively.

The new spaceship is the M50 Interceptor, and it can be flown in all the modes and events in the game, including a brand new, so far unrevealed one, called the Murray Cup.

But you can check out the ‘new episode of Galactic Gear’ for yourself up there, and tell us what you think.
