As we get closer to the release of Star Wars: Battlefront, we’re getting more information about what we can expect to see in the game. We already know that there are going to be some missions that involve Han Solo and Leia. Now we’re getting more information about the mission training itself as well as some of the bigger and more important battles players will have to go through. CGM had Electronic Arts shed some light on the missions, saying there are five different Training Missions along with a tutorial called Probe Droids where players will learn all about blasters, Star Wars Cards and blowing up Imperial gear.

Among the missions people playing as rebels will be able to take on is one that has you learning how to pilot a snow speeder on Hoth, as well as take down some Tie Fighters using your X-Wing. There are also some training missions for those who are playing as the empire. In the Overpower mission and Endor Chase you will be chasing down rebel forces in order to strengthen your hold on the galaxy for the empire.

The company also talked about how they have tweaked battles that can take place between two people who are sitting on the same couch. “Battles is classically Rebels versus Imperials, and can be played against a team of AI enemies or against another player. When playing against another player, it can be 1 vs 1 only, or each player fighting alongside AI enemies against each other. The choice is yours, and the goal is to collect points by picking up dropped tokens from your defeated enemies. Reach 100 points and the match is yours. Hero Battles follows the same rules, but with the key difference that you’re fighting as the iconic Heroes and Villains in Star Wars Battlefront.” Level Designer Jim Fagerlund said. Star Wars: Battlefront is due out November 17, 2015.
