Street Fighter 5

Capcom’s Street Fighter 5 is one of the bigger PS4 exclusives to have been announced in recent memory, especially considering the status of third party exclusives in this day and age. While many of us believed it would be out this year, Capcom accidentally revealed that it would be out in Spring 2016.

This was mentioned in a post announcing a Street Fighter 5 T-shirt retailing for $25, wherein Capcom stated, “Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter 5 coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring. Until then, you can sport the official SF5 key art T-shirt, which features Ryu in a heroic pose, for $25.”

The release date information has since been removed but you can check out a screencap of the same here.

A beta for the PS4 and PC versions will be arriving this year though and feature cross-platform functionality so we won’t be going a full year without Street Fighter. Regardless, what are your thoughts on Street Fighter 5 releasing next year? Let us know in the comments.
