Survey: 80% of Japanese Consumers Think The 3DS Is Expensive

According to a recent surveys in Japan, 80% of the consumers think that the Nintendo 3DS is expensive while 55% percent didn’t even know about it.
One survey, asked people what they think of the price of the 3DS, and a total of 80% out of 1,003 said that the price is expensive.
Here is the survey:
  • Somewhat expensive – 32.2 percent
  • Expensive – 28.3 percent
  • Too expensive – 19.2 percent
  • Reasonable price – 16.4 percent
  • Somewhat cheap – 2 percent
  • Too cheap – 1 percent
  • Cheap – 0.9 percent

The second survey, which was condcted by research firm Macromil, revealed that out 1,000 people, 55.9% of them didn’t even hear of the 3DS.

Very weird to hear such a thing coming from Japan.
