Microsoft's flagship franchise continues to face issues, with major features delayed again and lackluster communication all around.
Campaign Network Co-op, Mission Replay and the Forge Beta have also been delayed, now arriving with the "Winter Update."
Community director Brian Jarrard says the developer will discuss what to expect in the months ahead, noting that targets are "subject to change."

343 Industries recently streamed nearly an hour of gameplay showcasing Halo Infinite's upcoming campaign co-op beta.
"A few issues were discovered in our current flight ring and the team is working to address," says Halo community director Brian Jarrard.
Paul Bertone - who's worked on Halo 1-3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach - will help "lead the future of Halo Infinite" as per Joseph Staten.
343 Industries has also confirmed that campaign co-op will allow all players – not just the Fireteam Leader – to make progress towards their own saves.
According to the developer, "t"his would be an optional, additive alternative" for those who "want to get ahead on (or skip) the grind."
Halo Infinite's Forge mode is expected to enter beta this September, and new gameplay footage for it has leaked ahead of that.
It's important to note that only online campaign co-op will be released in August, while split-screen will be released at a later date.
Halo Infinite's latest Fracture: Entrenched event is now live alongside a new event pass and a new game mode in the form of Land Grab.
After fan requests, Halo Infinite now has a Last Spartan Standing playlist featuring all Big Team Battle maps.
Last Spartan Standing Equipment Pods will now provide all equipment and an issue causing weapon "jamming" has also been addressed.
343 Industries' head of creative Joseph Staten seems to be teasing the addition of classic Halo multiplayer maps in Halo Infinite.
Interference challenges should now track properly. Five XP Boosts and five Challenge Swaps are also being provided for the event's duration.
Two new maps arrive along with new modes, the Interference event, and a Battle Pass with new cosmetics to unlock and Credits to earn.
Though 343 Industries has plenty enough on its plate with Halo Infinite right now, it seems the studio is working on another game in the series as well.
