Fallout 76 is going free to play on all supported platforms, and fans can play for free starting now up until October 25th.
A strange but much appreciated update to 2008's Fallout 3 has removed the Games for Windows Live requirement from the PC version of the game.
Current-gen console owners can enjoy 4K/60 FPS, 120 FPS and ray tracing modes. Ray tracing has also been added to the PC version.
The update offers support for 4K/60 FPS, 120 FPS and even ray tracing (but not for Xbox Series S). PC players also receive ray tracing support.
Fallout 76: Expeditions - The Pitt will finally allow players to explore new areas outside of the Appalachia at no additional cost.
Fallout 76: Steel Reign aims to bring a conclusion to the Brotherhood of Steel questline, which began all the way back in Steel Dawn.
The event will once again be digital-only.
