Re-Logic’s popular indie side-scrolling sand box title Terraria, after months of teasing exclusive content for the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports, will be releasing next week. 505 Games will be handling porting duties and adding extra content. The game will be available on Xbox Live Arcade on March 27th, with PSN players getting it a day earlier on March 26th.

Created by Andrew “Redigit” Spinks, the side-scrolling RPG-esque adventure has already sold over 2 million copies on the PC, attracting both hardcore gamers and casual fans with its Mindcraft-esque gameplay. On the first week, it managed to outsell titles like Witcher 2 and Portal 2 on Steam.

The console version will be available for Xbox 360 at 1200 Microsoft Points while PS3 gamers will get it at €14.99/£11.99

Even more interestingly, after it releases on the European PSN store, there will be some further details on the next steps to the Terraria story? A sequel, maybe? Sign us up.
