The Division 2 Is Being Developed By Over 1,000 People – Report

Potentially Ubisoft's biggest game ever.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2

Ubisoft recently announced that it’s working on The Division 2, and though they gave no gameplay info on the game other than the fact that it exists, new reports have emerged and seem to suggest that it could potentially be the biggest game the publisher has ever worked on.

We know that the development for the game is being helmed by Ubisoft’s studio Massive Entertainment, though talent is being pulled in from a variety of other studios as well. Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shangai, Ubisoft Sofia, Ubisoft Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment are all helping with the game’s development, bringing the total of studios that are working on The Division up to seven.

As per a new report Game Reactor, who’ve received word from a “source close to the game”,  more than one thousand people are currently working on the game, making The Division 2 the biggest game that Ubisoft has ever worked on (if this report is indeed true). Ubisoft themselves have refused to comment on the matter so take this report with a grain of salt.

The Division 2 has been confirmed for an appearance at E3 this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
