Tom Clancy’s The Division will be receiving its first piece of end-game content on April 12th with the Incursion “Falcon Lost” wherein your squad of four will need to battle the Last Man Battalion once more.

The difficulty is significantly high, which makes sense when this is The Division‘s equivalent of a raid, but in the latest podcast from Ubisoft Massive it was revealed that lead designer Matthias Karlson and lead economic designer Andrada Gregiuc had yet to complete the mission.

When asked if the Hard Mode for Incursions was tougher than Challenging Mode for normal missions, Gregiuc said “Yeah, I would say that. It’s a different kind of content.”

Karlson also added that, “They’re in the same realm of difficulty. You’re going to see new ingredients in terms of what happens and what you’re exposed to playing in Incursions.” That includes an armoured personnel carrier that can’t be damaged by bullets.

“Incursions are our most difficult and most highly rewarding challenges in the game. With that degree of challenge we need to match that with rewards. It’s going to be the toughest thing you can do but also the source of the coolest stuff.”

Will it solve the upcoming crafting nerf problems though? We’ll find out in the coming days.
