The Walking Dead Survival Instinct Launch Trailer: Where It All Begins

Bring down the rising dead on March 19th.

Terminal Reality has released a new trailer for the launch of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, a first person shooter based off of the television version of The Walking Dead, which was produced by AMC. It sees Daryl Dixon shooting and murdering his way through swathes of the undead to get to – who else? – his brother Merle.

As a prequel to the events of the first season, Survival Instinct arms you with a crossbow for silent killing. Of course, there’s plenty of equipment for going loud as well, such as handguns and shotguns. You can also use a knife for close encounters to completely lobotomize foes.

The game features way more action than Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead, and that’s just fine. It’s not a bad thing to see each game trying something different. Published by Activision, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct releases on March 19th for Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and PlayStation 3.
