The Witcher 2 is one of the most beautiful looking games we have ever seen on the PC, and now that it’s coming out on the PC, everybody’s wondering if CD Projekt RED will be able to make it look as good as the gorgeous original. To make that easier for you, we have some comparisons for you, showing images from both the versions and pitting them against each other. It is clearly visible that the PC version is obviously the superior one, but the Xbox 360 version is not to be taken lightly either. it has beautiful lighting, great character models and sharp textures. While the lighting and the textures in the PC version are better than most of the games you’ll see these days, the 360 version also looks like a force to be reckoned with. Looks like CDPR have ported the game to the 360 properly, and that it still looks awesome. Tell us what you think in your comments below.
NOTE: The images above are from the Xbox 360 version and the ones below are from the PC version.

  • it’s looking good on the 360 but you’ll still be able to tell a difference if you’ve played or watched someone do a playthrough of the pc version. I’ve seen a screenshot of the King that Geralt is assisting, in the PC version, the crosses on his clothes were chunky, gold, raised and separated from the clothing. On the 360 version, the crosses looked like they were decals ironed onto his clothing. I’m still going to buy it on 360, the game looks awesome.

the 360 can never match PC, but it still looks pretty good for a console release.
