The Witcher 3: 1080p/60fps Gameplay For PC On Ultra Settings

It's a lovely looking game, especially on PC at 1080p/60fps.

The Witcher 3

Much like the admirable “Gopher” who recently shared his Witcher 3 gameplay footage, another YouTuber by the name of “ImAnderZEL” has shared some footage of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt for PC after being invited out to play the game by CD Projekt Red.

The game is running on Ultra settings on a single GTX 980 at 1080p at 60 frames per second. But as we’ve called into question before, LOD (the level of detail on items seen at a distance) levels are rather poor for a game running on its Ultra level. As we’ve also pointed out before, the removal of shading on the ground foliage robs the game of some real depth.

Pop in world details aside, the game does still look brilliant, and it does boast some impressive visuals. This test of the game was played on an Xbox controller and not a mouse and keyboard. This is probably one of the better tests of the game that you’re likely to see, purely because it’s a player enjoying the game and not an employee trying to show off its best aspects.
