We reported not so long ago that Sony will be selling you faceplates for your PlayStation 4, which replace your HDD cover, and which give your console a unique level of personality and customization, and while I am sure we were all anticipating some great designs down the line, these might already be taking the cake.
They are transparent covers for your HDD compartment in different colors, and they look stunning- I’ve always had a thing for transparent electronics (I used to love the transparent Nintendo 64/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance systems that Nintendo used to put out back in the day, which is why I loved their new 2DS designs so much as well), and this seems to stoke the fires of my nostalgia.
Seriously, look at those. Those look absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, so far, they are exclusive to Japan, but hopefully, Sony will see the light and bring them over to North America soon.
I’ll buy one of each.
