Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall will be receiving its first DLC pack in May. The Expedition pack will include three new maps – Swampland, taking place in a forested alien ruins; Runoff, which has water thrown into the mix; and Wargame which is inspired by the training simulator. The DLC will take place after the events of the main story campaign, for those who are interested.

Kotaku reported that new game modes are also incoming, including a 2 vs. 2 variant of Last Titan Standing. New Burn Cards and matchmaking filters based on hashtags will also be available for free. Though it hasn’t been confirmed, Respawn is looking into Titan insignia, Left 4 Dead 2-style mutations called Riffs, player statistics and much more.

Titanfall recently received an update to nerf the Gooser Challenge along with including Private Matches. It’s also available for the Xbox 360 courtesy of Bluepoint Games and it’s very, very good considering the standards set by the Xbox One and PC versions. What are your thoughts?
