Titanfall IMC Rising

Respawn Entertainment is closing in on the final DLC for Titanfall as IMC Rising’s “Zone 18” map is revealed. The level is interesting since it takes place in an old IMC base where Hammond Robotics is working on a new Spectre model after the destruction of its key base in the campaign.

The base itself is based on an old map that developer Geoff Smith created for Last Titan Standing. It’s now become a mirrored layout of sorts which is “almost like a paintball field for Titans”. There are three key hardpoints on the map connected by underground tunnels. So while players wage war below the surface, Titans battle above it. There will also be rooftops with roughly the same height so there will be less chances of getting the drop on foes.

Zone 18 is only the second map for the IMC Rising DLC with the third, “Sandtrap”, expected soon. The DLC is expected to release by this month end so stay tuned for more details.
